I had very tasty rice with monkfish, mussels and prawns Portuguese style here! Was really excellent. I would prefer the fish here as the meat was a bit dry. Still good, but you can do better with the fish

We had a shrimp salad. This turned out to be 4 shrimps and a lot of salad. The owner defended himself by arguing that the shrimp were very expensive. Bad argument.

Great food, great service, very friendly staff. We have rarely eaten so deliciously and well. From the starter (mussels) to the main course with fish and meat skewers to the creme Catalan and apple pie, everything was simply fantastic. The menu is in Portuguese, French, English and German. The staff speaks fluent English. Our children and we really enjoyed it. We can absolutely recommend this restaurant. Please make a reservation!

We spontaneously went there on a Friday evening while on vacation and had to wait a short while because the restaurant was very full and the table that was still available was actually reserved.
But the reservation didn't come, so after a short wait we got a place for 4 people.
We didn't regret the decision to wait: excellent fish (salmon in a lemon cream sauce, sea bass with a passion fruit sauce) and the Portuguese steak were sensational. The service was attentive and very friendly, and the prices were absolutely reasonable compared to other local restaurants.
We then made a reservation for another day as a precaution and had a very, very good experience the second time.
From the starter to the main courses (the mixed meat skewer was sensational) and the dessert to the brandy (it was on the house...) everything was a delight. The Ondaluz is definitely worth the detour if you are there.

We were there at 5:40 p.m. Restaurant deserted but supposedly everything reserved. Staff unfriendly!!! Come back there at 7 p.m. Place half empty. We could have eaten comfortably in that time, but they probably didn't want any customers!!!!!!@
