It's just off the square by the old Fort, don't be fooled it looks ordinary, but rhe food and service are first class. Excellent service with a touch of humour 10/ 10.

Great place to eat something smaller than a full dinner. Went there twice during our stay in Machico. Definitely advise going there and trying the traditional sandwiches.

everything was absolutely delicious, on top of that the waitress is lovely.You can go there with your eyes closed to discover the specificities of Madeira.

Excellent food and very friendly service. The special steak sandwich was delicious. We went back for dinner with dessert. The grilled squid and scabbard with banana were amazing! Dessert was also brilliant.

Two stars only for the pastry, the owner has little towards the customers and the fish is terrible. You have much more options to the nearby restaurants next door than choose here. The waitress is friendly though.
