Feb 7 2024: AMAZING: fresh great food with great staff. I had the lunch special with fresh fish, salad, and potatoes. Delicious. So good. Had chick pea soup of the day. Mmmmm. Good food worth any wait time which was minimal. Food shops cannot control tourist rushes but lots of locals there. Going to all 9 Azores islands and this cafe is high on my list to return over the next few days. Great dessert selection. Exemplary efficient staff. Helpful. Well run. Busy. Over the road from the main church. A place worth more than 5 star limit. Mmmm

We had a very pleasant time in this restaurant, the waitress took the time to translate everything into English and the burger was very good.With a drink and a dessert the bill is around 10th, I recommend!

I am sorry but I didn't have a good experience with this restaurant. We order 2 pizzas but we got 2 American styled pizzas that tasted really weird, it looked like they were frozen and cooked in an oven, there was basically no sugo and weird looking ham.

We ordered two pizzas and it took them quite a long time to prepare, finally we got american style pizza with tons of cheese, it tasted like if they just unfreezed it and prepared in the oven.

Nice cafe with a good assortment of snacks and pastries. No credit cards, which doesn't matter as prices are very reasonable. Open on Sunday a bonus as so may places are closed.
Great location. Always open during weekend and holidays. The service is prompt and the baked good fresh. Their croissant and palmier’s actually tasted authentic French.I forgot my umbrella and came the next day to get it. They actually had it and gave it to me. It’s nice to see honesty still exists in the world.
