Third time giving Bowls Mercado an opportunity. A first in Take-away which wasn't the best experience, a second alone which I liked and went very well and a third, which unfortunately will be the last.
We ordered a Bowl of Salmon and another of Tuna, cucumber and onion roughly cut, with huge pieces that you don't even see in a house salad and worst of all, terrible rice for a Bowl. Dry rice, poorly cooked, without any flavor and in blocks as if it had been in the cold for several days closed in a box.
At the end we were still alerted to try the rice and see that it was not ready to serve (right away with the first disapproving look from those who served us), explaining the issue of flavor, of it being dry and in blocks... when surprisingly We immediately received the answer "It's sushi rice, that's how it is..." without trying to understand if it was actually a preparation or cooking error, no, just making the customer ignorant and not knowing what sushi rice is. (Assuming we never eat pokes, bowls or even sushi... or even in this place where I've eaten well-cooked rice).
I don't usually make these criticisms so detailed and extensive, but when they don't want to notice the errors in person and try to correct them, someone responsible can read it here and try to resolve them before it's too late.

Mafra has long needed a space like this: different, with different options, a young and modern atmosphere with a very pleasant terrace, without being just like all the others. It's a shame people don't understand this and only worry about the prices charged. The prices cannot be the same because the space is not the same, it is a (different) option, to add to the other spaces already existing in Mafra, this is what is important and enriching for our Village. I hope that more spaces and options like these will appear in the future, so that Mafra stops being the ghost town where there is nothing and nothing happening...

There is a farmer's market on the first floor, and you can enjoy meals on the rooftop. The ingredients are fresh and refreshing, and the rooftop outdoor seating offers views of Malaf Palace. This meal is very cost-effective at only 8.9 euros.

Really disgusting ?, not very fresh rice, not enough fish, they replaced the avocado with cucumber (imagine if) and they didn't send the wasabi, which had been requested. They gave me food poisoning, so I advise all residents of Mafra not to take any risks and if you care about your health, don't set foot there. Mafra does not deserve this service, I do not recommend it.

Cosy and quiet place to eat. Inside the local produce market, great spot. The guy that served us was on his first day. He was kind of nervous but he was quite sympathetic towards us and the staff cordiality was a plus. The food didn’t take too long and the desert arrived at due time. I’d highly recommend when looking for a healthy and affordable brunch in Mafra. The price practiced there is significantly lower compared to those we find in Sintra, where we live.

We gave the benefit of the doubt after a first experience we had shortly after the space opened, in which the bowls were in the "construction phase". We ordered through Uber Eats, the service was quick, the bowl was well presented, much more complete, but unfortunately the rice was hard and tasteless, looking like it had come out of a Tupperware container that had been forgotten in the fridge. The way the salmon was treated was also careless, with pieces that could not be eaten.I hope this contribution is well received.

It is always very pleasant to come here for any meal. The food is good, the service is always friendly and the place is very pleasant. I especially like that sofa on the top floor facing the window, where I can get lost in my thoughts and reflections, I seem to be flying over the roof in an immense blue sky. The terrace is equally pleasant, especially in summer, you feel like staying there for hours.
Vegetarian options: There are a few like Humus.
Parking: A little further down the street is a parking lot.Around 20 seats at the top and another 15 at the bottom.
Kid-friendliness: It's very pleasant, they like being there and have space to roam.
We ordered two bowls for ubereats, both were terrible, the rice base was raw and seemed frozen! First and last time! I have a photo, we couldn't eat it ?

A feather! The space is really cool inside the Mafra municipal market, the rooftop has a great view and is super pleasant. We thought about ordering a drink and then possibly having lunch... we ended up going for a lemonade, most likely purchased without any fun (we are inside the market and open) and to order the lemonade they still suggested that we pay at the ground floor... it is not noticed. Of course we thought it was better not to stay for lunch ?

What a good spot we found, we were looking for a place to eat and we found this place. We loved the terrace, in relation to the food we liked it a lot.?I recommend the avocado toast which was really good!We will surely return :)
