A very pleasant restaurant due to its decoration, but the amount of food was very poorly served, we ordered a portion of picanha and they served 6 very small and very thin picanha steaks, barely enough for 2 people, let alone 1 couple and 2 children, with rice, French fries and black beans, just black beans without pieces of chorizo or smoked meats as they are usually served. In the end, when the employee came to collect the dishes and asked us if it was good, we said yes, but that it was very poorly served, apparently she didn't accept the criticism and turned away. We paid €40 or so for the dose, a mug of house wine, 2 cokes and 2 coffees without desserts, very expensive for the amount of food. Not to be repeated, as there are other places in Maia, where you can eat much better and with great quality for less, such as the Costa Brava, etc...

A bad option for my dinner. I used the take away service. I chose chicken and noticed that there was only one on the grill. The man who was at the grill took a chicken from under the counter that was already roasted. and put it on the grill to heat up because, as I said, it would already be cooked. Next, raw chickens were placed to roast. The chicken was very dry, it didn't even look like it had come off the grill, although it was well seasoned. I'm not going back to this house.

If you are looking for an excellent meal, good service, quality and a fair price this is the place. Cozy atmosphere with absolutely delicious dishes. We ate Bacalhau à Portas, a house specialty, fried cod with sliced potatoes and an exceptionally delicious pepper-based sauce. The flavor was impeccable, a half dose was very well served and the presentation was a show in itself. Being in Porto we couldn't miss trying the traditional Francesinha and the result was a dish with unique flavors, balanced and of impeccable quality. I loved the experience, I will recommend it whenever possible and I hope to return soon.
Some scoundrels, we arrived 45 minutes before closing and we couldn't even get the take away roasts. They very rudely misunderstood us and sent us to the Burger King across the street. Regrettable zero professionalism
