Food was extremely bland and doused in oil. Service was bad but I bet it isnt their fault because the guy was very nice. The fries were stale. The best part was the white rice. White rice is nice anyways so yeah.

Placed order for food at 8.30pm with waitress. After an hour watching diners who’d come in after us being served we asked where our order was. The original waitress went into the kitchen and barked at the chefs but avoided us like the plague and left a young boy to deal with it. Food eventually arrived after 1 hour 20 minutes and included the least appetising steak I have ever seen. When I went to pay the original waitress was unapologetic, which takes some moxie. Avoid if you value your time, enjoy eating nice food and don’t like being gaslit

The steak was the worst i have ever had. Like the sole of a shoe floating in a glutinous sauce of some sort. It came with rice and chips !!!!!! Really !!! My partners swordfish was bland as bland can be. Peniche is an absolute disappointment, I was hoping the food would make up for it.. i suggest going somewhere else.
