“First time at this friendly Portuguese restaurant. Called in for early dinner with friends after golf at Pinhal in nearby Vilamoura. At 17.30 still very quite so service quick and attentive. Plenty of choice from an extensive menu. We opted for Mixed Kebabs and Chicken Piri-Piri. All very good. Placed filled up quickly from about 18.00hrs and the single waitress was then under some pressure but coped well.“

“Tasko da Adega in Fazendas de Almeirim was recommended to us as having creative cuisine that was different from the usual cuisine found in restaurants in a location like this. Opened at the end of 2021, within a traditional style, it hired chef Goncalo Reguinga at the end of 2023 and in a joint effort (with chef João Poeiras) they are introducing some new features to the menu, particularly in the starters.Nice room within the traditional register. Sturdy but not very comfortable tables and chairs.Hardworking, friendly, efficient, and very familiar service.The charter has been subject to a recent change. “I stayed 8 nights in Porto. This restaurant was about 4 blocks from my hotel. The staff were always welcoming and helpful, some spoke very good English. The menu was also printed in English. Selections were varied and portions large. Cost was very reasonable. Please support them if you're in town!“

“Great space and environment.
We ordered rooster cabidela and monkfish massada.
The cabidela had nothing to point out. Right dose of vinegar.
The pasta, on the other hand, was a little tasteless. There was still piri piri but it didn't save her.
Good doses however.
For dessert we ordered the creme brulet which really didn't disappoint, the farófias also looked great but we ended up not ordering them.
Regarding service, a little confusing.
We spent around 5 minutes at the entrance waiting to be served and inside the room the two waitresses were uncoordinated (different people came to ask the same thing).
However, their friendliness stands out, always recommending dishes and the house white wine.“

“A happy surprise planted by the sea.
We ended up in this small land by chance, hearing about its magnificent sunset, we ended up sitting by the river with generous, well-seasoned, dry and well-fried servings of eel.
The starters are sensational, both the mushrooms and the afternoon are a must and set the perfect tone for the meal.
The dishes follow the fashion: they are served generously and prepared with the utmost care and respect.

“The Can Can steak is not that good, it is a steak soaked in sauce (cream, pepper sauce and coffee). The veal kebab was quite good, I consider it to be one of the house's dishes, it was well presented and had good flavor. I also recommend trying the white sangria which is good and made fresh.“
