I've known this house for a few years. I return whenever I can. Last weekend we had dinner and came back for lunch the next day. The food is great, delicious and with flavors reminiscent of our grandmothers' times, which are increasingly rare and difficult to find. The atmosphere is simple, familiar and welcoming. The service is excellent, both the owner and the employees are friendly and available. The detail of the "freshly" roasted pork shoulder was simply fantastic! When we have to say: “Give me time to receive you as you deserve” we know we are in the right place. All the staff are very friendly, the food is wonderful even for a vegetarian like me, they made a point of adapting the dishes and even creating dishes so that I could also be satisfied with what I ate. Everything was very good and incredibly friendly. Thank you very much Mr Hélder and the whole team.
Vegetarian options: We just have to have time and availability and in addition to tomato soup, Alentejo bread, potato crumbs and the occasional vegetarian option, Mr Hélder and the team are available to prepare us very good Alentejo and vegetarian food.
