Very good meals- tasted fresh- good for families. The mushrooms and spaghetti was very good as was the kids chicken meal.

Very good food and views of the valley. There are typical Alentejo dishes and very good regional wine. The service is very attentive and friendly. We recommend.

Restaurant well located, presentable, offering a good view of the immense landscape, but... a dirty fork with dry food, tablecloths with wine stains (I don't drink) and different sauces, it takes a while to serve the order, which was : "meat à Alentejana" Quantity supplied is very small, poorly fried potatoes (semi-raw), tough meat, very dry in small cubes, little bigger than olives. WC/toilet without privacy, no lock, but there are a lot of cobwebs in the walls. To go back ? Never!
Delicious lunch! The gazpacho was interesting, but it was the alhada de caçao that charmed me, although it was a heavy meal for such a hot day.

A restaurant located on the 1st floor, very nicely decorated. The servers are friendly, efficient and attentive. As for the dishes, from starter to dessert it was delicious and the portions were gigantic!

The gizzards were without a doubt the best of the meal.
The cod was well prepared, but the fillet was small, the rest of the accompaniment lacked flavor...
High price for the doses presented.

Spectacular restaurant. Great food, exquisite service and very pleasant atmosphere with soft music. We ordered salad and two different cod dishes with dessert and five beers, they didn't reach €70.

Although meat-less food is certainly their specialty, I had a delicious veggie dinner here. Started with the amazing Alentejano tomato soup, the main course was pasta with mushrooms and courgette, simple yet delightful, finished with a splendid leite creme aka crème broulee. Special mention goes to the fantastic Marvão artesanal beer, Barona. Service was efficient and friendly. Top marks!

I ate traditional tomato soup. Very tasty. Inside comes an egg and a piece of bread. I asked the waiter what animal that egg was because it was huge! He said it was chicken! Poor chicken!

For the amount paid for a steak made from supposedly veal but which was actually cow, it was quite expensive.A bitoque but a bitoque of the simplest you can see, I've had daily meals that put what I had for dinner in my pocket. The wine for the price is nothing specialVery weak entries. In my opinion, other than the location inside the castle, there is nothing that would make me go back there again. You only pay for the name and the dress but nothing else.
Great! I highly recommend it, everything was delicious!!
