Yesterday, July 22, 2024, I went to Burger King on Matosinhos beach for the first time and was faced with a horrible spectacle. In addition to the terrible appearance of the interior of the establishment, what shocked and angered me most was the service. Not to mention the noise and lack of organization of the space. After placing my order, I went to the terrace and soon realized that none of the tables were clean and the floor was littered with food and rubbish. I sat down to start eating and my order was wrong. When I went to the counter, I politely spoke to one of the staff. I told him the following: “I know the establishment is busy and I understand that your work is not easy, however, the burger I ordered was not this one. Plus, the potatoes are completely raw.” The employee, who I later realized was the manager, José, looked me up and down with an extremely arrogant and disrespectful attitude, grabbed my potatoes in an aggressive way and most of the potatoes fell into my hands, that were on my board. He turned his back on me and continued with the diva and rude attitude. Right away I said to him: “Is that a way to take my food? Have more respect, as I am paying for the meal.” He continued with that haughty attitude, ignoring all the comments I made. I asked for the complaints book and waited more than 10 minutes for the book to be delivered to me, while the same guy (manager) continued to organize other people's requests and ignored my presence. Immediately afterwards, he threw the book on the counter and didn't say a word. I came outside, to the terrace, to write my complaint. I went back inside to give him the book and left. A few meters further on, I remembered that I had forgotten the copy of my complaint and turned back. When I arrived at the establishment again, I told him that I had forgotten my copy. He looked me up and down again and turned his back to me. When the book was handed to me, after some insistence and minutes later, the guy aggressively ripped off the page and tore it on one side on purpose, while looking at me with contempt. I called him out for the behavior he was having and told him that he had torn up my sheet. Still, he continued to ignore me, while making arrogant expressions. At that moment, I got into a nervous state and the argument began. The establishment was full and everyone there heard and complained about the food and service. When I leafed through the complaints book, I saw that it was completely full. The sheet where I wrote my complaint was one of the last in the book. The establishment was very dirty, the food was inedible and there was not a single employee cleaning the tables or the rubbish on the floor. I heard many customers complaining about the food and especially the service. The bathrooms are also very dirty and unkept. I have never been treated so poorly in my life and I will never enter this space again. I was angry! That gentleman, who calls himself a manager, needs a crash course in manners and politeness. What surprises me most is that they gave the position of manager to someone so unqualified. Total incompetence. Absurd. Zero rating.

Suite aux commentaires d'il y a 11 mois rien n'a changé apparemment puisque le service est ultra long par contre les tarifs sont les mêmes qu'en France par contre la qualité et le goût vraiment très loin d'être là. Le wifi est présent mais n'a aucun accès à internet. En bref passez votre chemin pour ne pas être déçu.

The truth is that the service is relatively good, but that place is very dirty. And I don't see control of people entering and leaving. It's not the first time I've been there and it's repeated, I don't think it's a place for small children.
