Very inconsistent service. Lots of mosquitoes in the air and some lack of hygiene. Food not always consistent with what you order. Most of the time the food is tasteless. Prices neither expensive nor cheap. Lots of options around.

The seafood cream is the best I've ever had. The seafood rice is also excellent, very well filled.
It's always a good option.

One of the best seafood dinners, ever.
Dear local friends recommended Majára. What a gem. Ambience is classy, a place to have a nice family dinner, a date or a fabulous time with friends who appreciate excellent food. No dress code detected, but do your best to make it a special time. This is a nice restaurant that takes care of every detail!
Greeter, waiter were very friendly. Augustin, our waiter, was funny, energetic, very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. His recommendations were spot on. Timing and rhythm of service was perfect, and no interruptions to our family chat.
On to the food. We eat excellent seafood regularly. Majára is among the top. Jumbo grilled shrimp was very tasty, added butter made an explosive party of taste in my mouth. The seafood platter was very generous, with plenty of shrimp, crab, prawns, persebe (barnacle) that were juicy, expertly prepared, tasty and incredibly fresh. Our waiter made an excellent pairing with local Vino Verdhe and showed us the fresh jumbo camarao. Salmon plate was also very tasty and a great option for those in your party that prefer fish over mariscos. Bread was freshly baked and buttery.
Creme Brule toped the night, but the star of the show was the incredible seafood platter.
Thank you team Majára. We will be back!

Seafood restaurant with over 50 years of existence. A great choice for seafood, fish and francesinhas! It has three independent rooms and, as such, it is easy to find a table, as well as a space for take-away. Parking in the “parque das marisqueiras” (Saba) can be free (maximum 2 hours) if you ask for a ticket at the restaurant when paying. In this review it doesn't get 5 stars because the seafood mix included some small prawns that had poor flavor! However, the waiter apologized and in the end paid attention to the final price.
Parking: Parque das Marisqueiras (Saba) free until 2am if you ask for a ticket at the restaurant at the time of payment.

We were staying in Porto and was recommended this place by our taxi driver.
Very local place which was great and authentic , we walked in and was greeted by such lovely staff!
We ordered the Seafood platter and OH. MY. GOD. It was huge and so so fresh and tasty!!
Absolutely delicious, the wine served went perfectly too. The bread for starters was yummy and perfectly complimented the main.
So glad we came and highly recommend it!

It was the first time we went to this seafood restaurant in our 35 years of marriage.
We were well attended to, the food was excellent, everything was on point.

Best restaurant with the best francesinha, I come from Lisbon on purpose just to eat the francesinha.
I recommend the very special top francesinha.
The best and true sauce, excellent employee who remembers me even though I only come to the restaurant 2 or 3 times a year. I really recommend it.

Divine food, fresh and well prepared seafood! I am grateful for the friendliness of S.Augusto and Bruna from the ice cream shop who served us with great care.
One of the best places in Matosinhos to eat seafood and without a doubt with the best ice cream in Matosinhos.

Excellent choice for those who like seafood and fresh fish!! In addition to these options, the meat dishes are very well prepared and the francesinhas are a real specialty!! Well-stocked dessert menu with the option to choose ice cream à la carte. Friendly and attentive staff!!

I ate the "corked" steak accompanied by straw fries and spread and it was very good.
The restaurant is large, the service is good and the waiter is very friendly.
It is a seafood restaurant, as such, the prices are not affordable.
