A small and very cozy place with great food. The gentleman who served us was spectacular, charming. We let him choose the 4 menus for us, only 15 euros per person, including drink, dessert and coffee and it was perfect, everything was delicious. Without a doubt highly recommended. We were two adults and two children. Everyone delighted. Thank you so much! We will be back

The owners are very friendly, the house specialty octopus is fantastic. Better to reserve a place as it fills up quickly. What I said is totally recommendable

We chose this restaurant because of the great reviews it had and it honestly did not disappoint us. We asked Mario, the owner, to give us what he thought best on the menu of the day and we were simply delighted with what he brought us. Rice and octopus. I have not eaten a tastier octopus than that and the rice was exquisite. He brought us a bottle of green wine and for dessert a house specialty souffle. Coffee included for €15 person. It is a small but cozy restaurant and Mario's kindness makes you feel very comfortable.

A place to repeat!!!, well-prepared products, menu prices more than correct, family-run establishment, without the idea of impressing like the nearby establishments. You can't miss the octopus accompanied by rice, a hearty dish!!! And make room for dessert
If you order a white wine to accompany it, you will be more than satisfied.

We went early to book as no one answered the phone, we made a reservation for 1:30 pm. When we arrived they were full and there was a queue, we were told that they would call as soon as they were ready. After waiting for more than 1h30m, with several tables passing by, we with children aged 1, 2 and 9, were left last and had to leave so we could have lunch elsewhere. In other words, a huge lack of respect! I don't intend to go back, anyway! I've been to this restaurant on a previous occasion, in another location, the food is ok, nothing special, good value for money when you can get service. The current location is small and poorly organized.

Disappointing. We went at noon and booked for 1:30 pm. We waited a total of almost 2 hours after the scheduled time because there would be 6 people, customers who had arrived after us went ahead. We ended up leaving due to negligence, I found it very disrespectful towards the customer. We had already visited the place but at the previous address I would never set foot there again. Bad experience.

If you want fresh octopus with rice, wine, dessert and coffee, go there. Very homely atmosphere and good price for the quantity and quality of dishes.

I visited this place as soon as it opened as the first lunch customer and was pleasantly surprised by the owner's warm and friendly response. Every corner of the store was decorated with eye-catching interior design, so I kept looking around the store while eating. The bathroom was also very clean and had a cute interior.
The small crispy bread and sauce served before the meal were very delicious (I asked for a refill and had more), and I was surprised that one bottle of wine was provided per person. The owner seems to have a big barrel.
For the main dish, I ordered octopus rice and octopus served in a special dish. Both the fried octopus and the cooked octopus rice tasted great. The lunch box-like bowl, which was made to keep warm for a long time, was unique.
It was nice to see them paying close attention to the guests while they were eating and serving them cheerfully and naturally. We ended the enjoyable meal with dessert and coffee. If two people are going, we recommend ordering different main dishes and desserts to share. We were the first guests. As soon as we sat down, it was full of customers. It must be a popular restaurant.

A little paradise preserved from the hordes of tourists (until the moment you read this review), a small restaurant frequented by local residents which is always a good sign. The local specialty is octopus, available in a typical recipe. The menu is very small: 4 dishes, 4 desserts and a few starters. The price is Portuguese, which means very reasonable, far from that of establishments frequented by tourists. Not to be missed after visiting the fish market
