What I admire most in a restaurant is the service, and I must say that this one was impeccable. It is a family restaurant; we were served by Mr Joao and his son. When paying the bill we also met the wife. I really liked the food; We went on a perfect sunny Sunday. We love it!

Treat yourself to a little gourmet getaway not so far from the historic center of Porto. Small, pleasant restaurant with very friendly waiters. Cuisine with very fresh fish. We had a grilled sea bream for two. Succulent! The grilled sardines as a starter were also good. Treat yourself!

Without any doubt this is my go-to fish restaurant in Porto when I’m seeking a “proper” quality meal. After maybe 12 visits I’m writing a review! If you are seeking a big fish like Sea Bass (Robalo), Turbot, John Dory, giant Tiger Prawns or Lobster this is the place. Expect a big fish for 2 or 3 people, maybe see if they will serve you half a fish, most of the cafes / restaurants are serving seabags for 1 which is almost always farmed, these big fish are not farmed. Proper linen table clothes, clean modern toilets, relaxed interior, fresh crisp white and rose wine, thick rich fish soup, amazing garlic / buttery mixed shredded vegetables, I’m a home cooked chip fan and these are some of the best I’ve had (forget triple cooked.) Sometimes they have Iberico Ham on the leg which they carve off fresh ( but double check if Iberico or Serrano as does change) fish off the charcoal grill in the kitchen, lovely home made deserts different from mouse or pudding which is rare in portugal! Even the little olives are gourmet! If I’m after a quick cheaper lunch of sardines I will eat in the more rustic paper table cloth, cafe style, places however my mind will be thinking about Opina! Eat inside or outside with parking in the streets around or a multi-story a couple of blocks away. * I only leave reviews if the offering is good to exceptional or below acceptable / expected *

Everything great. Friendliness and 5-star service
The food was tasty, but I considered the dose/quantity to be small. Above all, I didn't feel compensated for the price.//Good food, but a really small portion. Most of all, I didn't feel compensated for the price.

Amazing place! The food was so fresh, full of taste, the best quality. Our local friend took us here, otherwise it would be easy to miss. Definitely coming back for the sea bass and desserts.

Outstanding service from the waiter today. We had the Sardinhas dish which was really good. Freshly served and as expected. However, the menu card is somewhat difficult to understand as prices are given per kilo. Would recommend to change to prices per portion or person. Much easier for the guest. For the ambience, authentic Portuguese Restaurant sitting almost on the street on plastic chair but the table nicely covered by white table wear. In all absolute recommendable for good Portuguese food ?

DO NOT SIT ON THE TERRACE. Tasty and abundant food, good value for money. The downside was that we had an "unexpected guest" on the terrace who ruined our meal. a cockroach jumped onto my plate from the façade. Oporto, in the port, on the terrace, in summer, understandable, but they do not take measures such as traps, or fumigation, or insecticides in the drains... the worst thing was the establishment's response, disappointing. Excuses, no apologies... only a 20 euro discount on the fish that the cockroach caught, 45 euros per kilo (good price), and not a single sorry. Bill of 60 euros despite eating half a portion of fish. The treatment is very sad.

We had a bad experience, when we ordered Arroz de mariscos, which looked more like soup, we called the waiter and showed it, to our disappointment, he told us that everything was ok, it was really like that!!We know not, as it is a dish that we repeat a lot in many restaurants!*
