Interesting and well-kept place, a few minutes from Matosinhos beach, even if not very visible. Special dishes, with unusual but very interesting combinations. Not the typical traditional Portuguese cuisine, but a cuisine with excellent innovative dishes. Average prices, but for the quality of the dishes very fair. In particular, we took the quinoea burger, the duck meatballs and the tuna tataki on orange puree, an amazing dish: the tuna was soft and cooked to perfection and the puree was very good. The guys who manage and cook in the restaurant are very young, friendly and nice. Absolutely recommended!

Just one street in from the beach is this lovely local restaurant with super comfortable welcoming environment, not to mention Owner operated, which is always a plus, friendly English speaking . There’s something on the menu for everybody here, but it seemed to the people that are in the know come for the daily special, which is very inexpensive and what they were serving the day I ate here looked delicious and generous. I had to veal over angel hair pasta, which was very flavorful and satiating. Next time you’re on the beach and hungry skip those restaurants right on the boardwalk and come over to this place. There’s a lot more passion and care going on in the kitchen, you could tell by the quality of what they were serving up.

Unfortunately can only give 2-3 stars as we were generally disappointed with the food. The Argentinian entree was tasteless, the portobello dish was very dry with all that rice and the quinoa steak was burnt the first time it was served. Service was really good though, super waiter who also replaced the burger with a new one and explained about the wine. Nice room, a little too "cold" for my taste, but it was nice and clean.

Small restaurant, with a calm atmosphere and good taste in decoration. Very friendly and attentive service. From what we tasted, I recommend tuna tartare and mushroom risotto.
I really liked it. Intimate and carefully decorated, with very good and very well prepared dishes from different origins, which allows for demanding and broad tastes. Congratulations to Tiago, the employee who helped us for his professionalism. See if you love what you do. A good option to consider.
