CISMA has it all; tasty, wholesome food, attractive decor, great music and excellent service. We spent the month of July in Matosinhos and had lunch here 4 times. The standard of both the food and the service was consistent and the restaurant was always busy.
Just one street in from the beach is this lovely local restaurant with super comfortable welcoming environment, not to mention Owner operated, which is always a plus, friendly English speaking . There’s something on the menu for everybody here, but it seemed to the people that are in the know come for the daily special, which is very inexpensive and what they were serving the day I ate here looked delicious and generous. I had to veal over angel hair pasta, which was very flavorful...
Average prices, but for the quality of the dishes very fair. In particular, we took the quinoea burger, the duck meatballs and the tuna tataki on orange puree, an amazing dish: the tuna was soft and cooked to perfection...
