Excellent fish and seafood restaurant in Matosinhos, we have not stayed at the hotel. We had a grilled sea bass and some garlic prawns. For dessert, a Catalan cream. All impressive. Adequate price quality.

They have stolen almost €60 from me for rice that not even dogs eat and cod that couldn't be saltier. They have also charged me for inedible bread, hard as a stone, and for some olives that they put as an appetizer, without asking for them. To make matters worse, when the waiter removed the plate, I found hair on the tablecloth. I left without eating a bite, with an upset stomach and €60 less.

Restaurant well located in front of the Matosinhos dock. Large restaurant, with a more sheltered room, good views, and a beautiful balcony at the top of the building. The staff were very friendly and proactive, the service took a while but the food was fantastic.
Very well grilled brill, and a fantastic egg stew.

We ate at the restaurant and it was decent. Not that great, the restaurants around are just as good and cheaper. Namely, you are charged for everything on the table. So olives and bread are charged if you eat them... It's aberrant for a French person to see that but it must be in their customs... I also ordered a tiger shrimp because I had seen the photos and didn't look at the price. At almost €20 per shrimp, I still have it in my throat ? Top service, always attentive despite the crowds.
