I ordered the daily menu with 12 pieces of sushi. The sushi pieces were smaller than normal and the sushi was as thin as I've ever seen. One of them even came with an eyelash. For connoisseurs, I advise against this restaurant. Expensive for the quality it doesn't have.

I came to try the restaurant for the first time through Rally Fish. I liked it so much that I wanted to order more. The employee didn't come to me once. I signaled the cook and he spoke to the employee and didn't come. I asked the cooks again and no one ever came. I had to wait more than 30 minutes to be seen. I won't come back here again. When we(6 people) went there for Rally Fish Matosinhos at 9:40pm, they said they don’t have place when there were clearly space on the table on outside. They said they can’t take us there and they suggested us to check other places for a while and come back. We did and came back 30 mins later and they said it’s too late and there were people getting served on the tables that we were not have sit that were not eating rally fish menu. I don’t know but it looked like they just didn’t wanna accept us because we were not going to eat much and pay much. If you don’t wanna serve for rally fish, maybe you shouldn’t join for that then.

This is our favourite date night dinner place and the absolute best and freshest sushi? we've ever had. Having travelled and tasted sushi in many other cities, Sushi no Mercado easily beats the competition with its genuine sushi flavours. The chef and the waiting staff are incredibly kind and accomodating and the space is intimate and very welcoming. We keep coming back, as a couple and with friends!
