A place at a beautiful spot in Silves. Sitting here at the terrace makes you feel you are really having coffee in Portugal. Really a place I would return
We went there multiple times and we had a great time. The best coffee selection in Silves, great sandwiches. They have flat white coffee too!
Situated on a nice little square in Silves, we enjoy the coffee and the friendly service! The place’ s walls are decorated with gorgeous “azulejos”! Highly recommended!
This was a return visit for us to this great traditional restaurant. Always a pleasure to eat and drink here. A Galão and pastel de nata
A must have when visiting Silves! You will be greeted with friendly, prompt service and amazing treats and coffee. The only problem, choosing what item to order. Glad we have five days to try them all!
This is a lovely cafe in a pretty square in part of the old town of Silves. It is a scenic setting with a fountain, castle gate and trees - very pretty. Seating is both inside and outside. Inside looks very characterful and the selection of cakes and fancies was mouth watering. Well worth a visit.
This is a beautiful cafe by the city walls. You sit in the shade of trees surrounded by bird song and a cloud of butterflies. Superb coffee and pastries plus a great selection of drinks. Gentle jazz of the highest quality (Coltrane, Davis) is the soundtrack. Just perfect.
The owner kindly served us coffee even though he had closed for lunch. Lovely cool interior with traditional Portuguese decor and great coffee in decent sized cup. Very pleasant outdoor seating as well overlooking the square
Really pleasant café bombón and latte with local artisan “finies”. (See pic). Enjoyed our afternoon visit. Sat in the shade of trees and absorbed the atmosphere. Staff efficient and well mannered. Food exquisite. Have a few more days left in Algarve and hoping to go back. And - unlike some of our stops here - they accept card payment ?
We had delightful pastries in this sweet cafe with a coffee house atmosphere. The blue and white tile decor and old style furniture make for a nice atmosphere. The service is very attentive and friendly. The coffee could still be better - but it was the best we had in the Algarve so far!

Cafe da Rosa was a lovely spot to refresh ourselves after a visit to Silves Castle. The wine was refreshing and the food was superbly prepared and presented, and tasty and abundant. We had an Algarvian Salad with sardines, olives, cheese, nuts and lovely sweet lettuce, and a Terra Salad with oranges tomatoes, nuts, and cheese. However, the service left much to be desired and the cost was not on the cheap side.
Best Coffee! ☺️
Very busy. 10 minute wait to place our order, than 15 minute wait for the food...but well worth the wait. The salada alentejana, ordered by my wife, was plentiful and the salada da terra was one of the best salads I've ever had. Very friendly service among very busy staff.
Imperial is really good
The best fine without a doubt!!!!The best people without a doubt!!!
