In recent years, suckling pig for me has only been served at Churrasqueira Rocha, everything has always been impeccable, from the service, suckling pig, starters, garnish and dessert.

“This is a lovely cafe in a pretty square in part of the old town of Silves. It is a scenic setting with a fountain, castle gate and trees - very pretty. Seating is both inside and outside. Inside looks very characterful and the selection of cakes and fancies was mouth watering. Well worth a visit.“

“We came from a long trip and called to reserve a table, although we arrived at 10pm for dinner and with children (who were upset and made a bit of noise) they served us wonderfully well. The food was delicious and the service was 5*****! I recommend the visit.

“A typical restaurant on the edge of the national road, with lots of charm and good service. The speed of service and kindness are two strong points. The suckling pig is very good, with homemade sliced fries and a very colorful salad, but the amount of suckling pig for 6 people is at its limit. The Turkey Steaks are very good too, I recommend them! The Bitoque is very well served, and the Pork Febras are fantastic, fresh meat flavor ?
The desserts are very typical and well served (morgado, pudding, biscuit cake, rice pudding, fruit, various ice creams.
Very good overall, I recommend it“

“As I was in a hurry, we didn't want to waste too much time, so we opted to buy suckling pig sandwiches, in the hope of being able to eat quickly at the place, however it doesn't have a counter, anything to sit down and eat quickly, so Anyway, we stopped in a green area and enjoyed the delicacy, which was very good.“

“Great food and well served dishes. The staff at the house are extremely friendly.
Chicken francesinha, bitoque and prego on the plate, very good. For dessert? A biscuit cake or a Morgado do Bussaco.
Oh, and don't forget the thin one :)“

“An excellent surprise, this place where the suckling pig is really good. The personalized recommendation of the wine to accompany was very assertive and the staff's care about how the tasting was going is noteworthy. House with excellent atmosphere and modern decor. I recommend visiting.“

“This is the best “Leitão” I have ever tried! Great hospitality and really friendly staff!Surely an amazing experience! I spent few days at Melhada City. For sure I will be at “Nova Bairradina dos Leitões” in my next trip to Portugal! Lovely and beautiful days!“

“We ate there on a Sunday, we called at 10am and got a table for 12:30pm, which is an appropriate time to eat in Portugal. The suckling pig was very good, with crispy skin and not greasy. There were always people coming in to take their previously placed orders. It is very well priced and is a couple of minutes from the highway. Recommendable!“

“I love the suckling pig in this restaurant... the sandwiches are also wonderful... but this last visit didn't go well... the suckling pig served was almost cold, the skin was no longer crispy, you could tell it had been roasted a long time ago. .. completely ruining the visit to Nelsoft Simões!“

“The restaurant is very noisy when it is full. The Sarmentinho sparkling wine and the roast suckling pig are the jewels of the menu. Other excellent options are available to those who don't like suckling pig. The service is five stars. The price is high but it corresponds to the quality of the cuisine served.“

“Wonderful food and service, the best we have gone to, I 'm writing this in English for those visiting through the area plan your lunch, late lunch (we got there after 3pm), or dinner here. Just be careful exiting on IC2 as traffic is heavy always.“
