If you want to taste the best Leitão in the region, there is no better place than Castiço. Incredible and friendly staff, fast service, pleasant atmosphere and delicious dishes. The best restaurant in Mealhada without a doubt.
Late lunch but we were very well received. We ate Leitão à Bairrada and Naco de Alcatra w/prawns and it was great. The Morgado do Bussaco dessert and the lime tart were very good.
We came from a long trip and called to reserve a table, although we arrived at 10pm for dinner and with children (who were upset and made a bit of noise) they served us wonderfully well. The food was delicious and the service was 5*****! I recommend the visit.
