As we were waiting, our reservation time came and went. While waiting we were served wine, cheese and cured ham, free of charge. We were also served a fried appetiser, again free of charge. 20 minutes past our reservation time, we were invited into the gourmet hall. The event was over, but it was obvious the hall was not cleaned up yet. There, in a corner, a table for two was arranged for us.

During this, the wait staff was polite and apologizing for the delay and the circumstances. It was really no problem for us, the appetisers we were served while waiting was lovely, and them being free of charge was a nice surprise.

The food was very well presented and balanced. We had the classical gourmet menu. It consisted of a spread of cheese with fig jam, charcuterie, butters (mushroom and lemon variant) and olive oil.
