We had three foods for four people, lamb chops, migas de porco (fried pork), ensopado de enguias (eel soup) and they all were super delicious. And more than enough. Highly recommend it for authentic alentejana lunch!

We ate there thought it was local inexpensive and good based on the ratings. Service was good and ppl were nice.Unfortunately not the case for the food. Much room to improve. The fries were soft, the cuttlefish was like rubber and the eel was mostly bones. The beer was cheap and cold. But the water glasses were not clean.Otherwise not a great setting for the price.

This is the 2nd time I have eaten at this restaurant while visiting the region and I confirmed the good experience the 1st time. Both times, I was unlucky enough to not be able to taste the local eels(!), but I was always compensated with good alternative dishes. Yesterday we opted for the monkfish cataplana, which I just don't classify as above average, because it wasn't made with fresh monkfish, because it has everything it needs to be a top dish. Unlike others, the accompaniment is only with fried bread. An option that I love to accompany the mountain of vegetables that flavor its good preparation. For the usual tarts, don't go to this restaurant to find fast and refined service. It is a family house, which provides employment to those who need it and want to work in the hotel industry, with a simple and friendly atmosphere and where only time and preparation at the moment allow it to serve traditional and good quality dishes.Good luck for another good experience, and next time I hope to have luck with the eels in the region!!!!

Restaurant with a varied menu, with well prepared dishes and well served portions. At this time of year (beginning of October) there was no problem finding a table, but I advise you to book a table by phone in advance (possibly the day before)
Parking: The car park is a reasonable size so it is possible to park your vehicle without any problems.

Beautiful place, had everything to be welcoming, good food. Unfortunately, it's due to the owner's poor service and racism. Hires unskilled labor, generating low-quality service.
