Lovely setting, decor and furnishings. We booked for 19:30 when the restaurant starts service and dishes arrived quickly. For other reviews to say that this place has ‘authentic Italian cuisine’ made me laugh a little. The place is style over substance. Looks prioritized over quality of ingredients and dishes. I’m pretty sure our gazpacho was from a packet. The beringela alla parmigiana was not what I was expecting, the aubergine was barely grilled but the burrata was good. My steak with pepper sauce was well cooked but the pepper sauce was mostly pepper corns that I kept chewing on no matter how much I tried to avoid getting mouthfuls of the stuff. The chips were not cooked enough. Carbonara : tasteless and bacon too salty. Pesto pasta was good, hard to get that wrong. The tiramisu was mainly mascarpone with none of that mildly alcoholic coffee taste. Panna cota was good. Best thing was the ice cold medronho I ordered at the end. NOT AUTHENTIC ITALIAN. Tourist trap, like so many restaurants in the area. Too little competition to improve standards I guess. Get a cookbook and make it better at home ??

Kid-friendliness: We were 4 adults and 3 children and the lady who served us was impeccable. He always found solutions to entertain the children, from cars to pencils to paint on the floor. Amazing! I recommend.

It's not the place to go after a relaxed day at the beach. We came in looking presentable but in a t-shirt and shorts and we felt that there was some difficulty in finding a suitable place to stay, and they ended up placing us at a table at the back of the restaurant, although it is a beautiful place but notably different from the rest of the environment. The food also fell short of expectations. The focaccia is not a true Genoese focaccia, but rather a thin, crispy dough. We ordered penne with burrata and pesto, which was ok (nothing extraordinary) and pasta with carbonara, which despite having a good carbonara sauce had a very salty guanciale. Positive points for the place, which is extremely beautiful and well decorated, and also for the staff, who were always very friendly and polite. But we don't think the cost justifies the experience, in addition to feeling out of place in this place.

Great option if you're nearby. Pleasant and warm atmosphere. Pizzas and Foccacia looked good. Pet friendly and family friendly.

Beautiful place with nice staff (although a bit confused sometimes). Some food was very authentic and delicious (panna cotta and focaccia), others were lacking a bit of taste/authenticity (carbonara, napoletana). All in all it was decent :)
