We had the most amazing meal and the restaurant is such a gorgeous place with a small intimate setting with views of the river and deep history. The owner is the most sweet man with a charming personality who takes the most pride in his restaurant and experience for his guests with phenomenal food! We loved it here and went twice! A place to visit again, without a doubt.Mr. Joaquim's service was spectacular, super communicative, friendly and kind.Regarding the food, it was wonderful. He presented us with vegetable rice and grilled meat.
We had dinner for ten at this place. You have to make a reservation, we didn't (we were a couple and a baby), but they made room for us and we had dinner anyway. The food is delicious, incredible that one person (the owner) takes care of everything. The place is small but he only serves the bar, the tables and the kitchen. It should be said that despite being the only one, he does it wonderfully. The chorizo on the fire was delicious and so was the meat and rice we had for dinner. They only charge cash, but it is worth visiting this small place with a lot of charm. I give it a ten.
Parking: There is a small public parking lot next door. About 30 cars maybe enter.
Kid-friendliness: Completely. We entered with a baby stroller and the clerk helped us enter with it.
Wheelchair accessibility: As far as I saw there isn't. But I haven't looked closely.

What an experience the food was excellent, the host spoke English so really helped with the ordering.Excellent value for food which was top quality.Definitely recommend.Football was on so a few locals came in and Interacred with us and were very friendly.

This is a lovely Tasquina which we called in for a very late lunch by chance… our host was so accommodating and even though setting up for dinner was so ‘no problem…come in’ and suggested a lunch for 2 which was fantastic and fresh…. His local tomatoes and lettuce as well as terrific steak were terrific! All of his local guests were so friendly too… the ambience in this old building by the river is perfect and cool naturally. The facilities (WC) were spotless!!!
