Typical Portuguese town bar, few people, tranquility, in an unknown and beautiful town in the Portuguese Alentejo. The area is a must-see, due to its decadent charm, and being the only bar, it is therefore an imperative must-see. You don't want to find luxury in this bar, but you do want to find tranquility and family surroundings. The visit and, of course, the cross-border fraternization is highly recommended.

I can only recommend it.Very affordable prices, one dose is perfect for 2 people. We opted for the chickpea stew which was delicious and quite traditional.Good choice of meats and sausages. The grain was clearly homemade and not from a can.I recommend it and we will definitely be back!A more than obligatory stop for anyone visiting the Mértola area and wanting to eat typical food with quality.
A typical Alentejo restaurant, with very typical dishes. The food was quite good, well prepared. On the day we went there it was really hot, and we chose to sit at an outside table. The space is nice without big special decorations... but that's not why people come here either! It's the food... and it's good!
