I've been coming here for nearly twenty years. It remains one of my favorite spots. Spectacular food with some specialties like prawn soup. The service, by Senhor Alfredo, aged 77, is old-fashioned, very friendly, but genuine and professional. The space is immaculate from a cleanliness standpoint and plenty of space between tables. We went to this restaurant because it was the only one that was open on these dates. Super positive point since it was the only one in the area with updated schedules on Google.
The food was delicious, it was homemade and the price was adjusted to what we ordered. But BEWARE OF the couvert! We had no idea what it was and the bill went up a lot. If you don't want any surprises, don't touch the appetizers because they are not courtesy of the house...
