Everything was very delicious, the staff was very friendly and attentive and above all they let us go inside with the recommended large breed dog ?
An elegant and cozy place, with charming waiters and spectacular food. Highly recommended.

Real meat. Calf grazing in the field. Hard to find.

We have known the place for years, but we have been pleasantly surprised with the renovation. They have left it beautiful, cozy, with a new room in the basement to have meals with friends. And a super nice terrace.
The quality of the food, as always, very good. It also has a vegan dish, which is very appreciated, it was delicious.
The girl who served us was super attentive.
For me the best place in Miranda, congratulations!!!

I have visited and eaten several times and previously the food was wonderful, especially the cod, but on this occasion the disappointment has been spectacular, we ordered some bolinhas appetizer to share that cost €8, and 5 mini croquettes appear for 2 people.. A total scam, then we ordered Balbina cod and the dish appears with the cod in the center and stuffed with bag potatoes, yes, a €20 a la carte dish with bag potatoes, incredible, and also stale, each cod €20 , a total joke, a disappointment, very expensive, the bolinhas 2 cod, a bottle of green wine, €11 and a coffee €62, one and no more Balbina, we will never appear there again.

Clearly overrated restaurant.
Put it raw inside and warm.
The waitresses were friendly but Balbina's grandson has to learn to smile and be nice to customers. I have never been so unwelcome by an employee.
Very high bill. Avoid it...

The ambience is amazing. The decoration is beautiful. The service was nice and the food was tasty, but it was too expensive for the very little quantity. I must say that we were starving after eating in this restaurant. Again I encountered a totally different way of serving that has nothing to do with the typical north Portuguese restaurants, that serve good homemade food with a good portion and good ratio price/quantity/quality. In my opinion it's a pity that this restaurant and others nearby in this town are trying to change the trend of the good serving criteria of the north part of Portugal, by inventing a modern twist, that in my opinion, is spoiling the traditional recipes (and I risk saying, some are even changing the traditional taste) by making them in tiny portions with extremely high prices.

There are still genuine houses. Faithful to its origins and with plans to continue with the same quality as always. A great blessing.

Very welcoming space, with a calm and relaxed atmosphere. The staff was impeccable, always attentive to my needs. The food was good, the fried pastries were tasty but somewhat hard, they didn't seem fresh. The steak had a lot of quality, unfortunately the side dishes fell a little short when compared to the meat. Overall a very good experience.
