The restaurant is located very close to the sea which provides a really good ambience. We had the option to sit inside or outside. We were late because we spent a lot of time trying to park our car so I recommend you to use the parking from the hotel “Sesimbra” and just pay for it. The waiters were very friendly, the only situation that I would think would be a step up would be a small introduction to the food when they bring it. The food was ok, very diverse but nothing that special. We had the degustation menu and we were satisfied with it. The price was also very cheap for what we had so we couldn’t expect more.

Lovely beach front spot . An interesting menu but honestly a little disappointing for us as we know these dishes well . We are French Italian & Irish , we’ll travelled. Goats cheese Ravioli with spinach & almonds a bit tasteless & too creamy . Crème Brûlée could have been great ( looked lovely ) but it wasn’t torched enough for the famous brûlée croquant cap ( crispy top that is SUCH a pleasure to crack through to the custard) Staff were lovely Good selection of wines Would , however , give it a second visit to try other dishes .

I came out of this restaurant with mixed feelings: i) the quality of the food is very good but the amount served varies from more than adequate in some cases to insufficient in others. ii) descriptions of dishes are detailed but here is a dish named "Cataplana" that includes no fish. iii) the wine menu is wide enough but does not mention the years and it is difficult to find out even if one asks.. iv) one of the waiters was quite professional but another one managed to announce the price of the meal to all my guests even if no one had asked her about it. v) the view is rather nice and the table setting adequate but the back of the room reminds one of buffet breakfast.
