Manuel and his family beautifully run this typical Portuguese restaurant. They opened the kitchen earlier for us and recommended their best dishes, bacalao and borrego. The soup of the day was delicious and so was the local wine. The decoration is beautiful and they love chatting with clients and talking about their culture. Wonderful experience! Would definitely return when visiting again.
We arrived as a group for dinner and they forced us to have the group menu which costs 24.50. Includes the cover charge, cod and lamb stew, wine, water or juice, dessert and coffee. The doses were very exaggerated and ended up being more than half. We asked to take the rest and had to pay for 2 more menus (we were going to take it for 2 people who would arrive later and no longer in time for dinner).

I went to Cortelha da Burra because it had been marked on my list for over a year by the recommendations here.
I thought the price was high for the quality of the food.
The service is impeccable! I have nothing to complain about. Everyone is very friendly.
The cover costs 1.90 per person. We were 2 people and only 3 rolls came (very small), two butters, a pâté and a portion of olives that were not good. I don't know if they were artisanal but...
