“An absolute tourist spot. But very tasty food and it's a wonderful place to sit at the top. Basically good service. One caveat: we ordered a port wine without looking at the menu again. The port wine then appeared on the bill at €35 for 0.1 l. Luckily we had a glass for me ;-). And it wasn't even on the menu. He was already tasty. But a note about the price would have been very appropriate.“

“I don't know if there is a better restaurant on the island, for me I tried the best one, being Galician and having Portugal on the other side of the border, I can't be anything more than a lover of the brother country, of its cod, of its customs. , and of the hundreds of times I ate it in continental Portugal, Madeira and this one in Açores, without a doubt the best. Point and aside to rate a qualified, professional service, and 10 out of 10, the atmosphere is also unbeatable, background music, a bright place, integrated with a lot of vegetation, fresh and very modern, truly unsurpassed.
Parking: Parking within the establishment itself“

“We came from Spain and it is the only restaurant we have returned to several times to eat. Delicious food and very well priced. Excellent service. Without a doubt, a highly recommended restaurant to come to at any time!

“I had a lovely meal here tonight . The restaurant has a vegan menu and a dish or two off the main menu are suitable. Also a proper vegan dessert which has been illusive here up until now. I had the fennel orange and hazlenut salad to start great big plate of mixed lettuce with generous amounts of the other ingredients (might be a main size!) Bean chilli which was nice and came with organic rice and veg although it wasn't at all spicy. There was a gf yam based chocolate dessert, texture was between a mousse and a cake, a bit different and very tasty. The staff were really great helpful and friendly. The food came quickly as did the drinks and the place had a really great ambience and a nice buzz as it was almost full. Would recommend and suggest booking in advance.“

“We were there twice. The first was to have cocktails and the service and quality were very good, although they have little variety of cocktails. The second time we went to eat and we had to wait a long time for a table to be given, but then everything went quite well, except that it was very hot and the umbrellas are not enough; in fact, the waiters were all sweating profusely. I enjoyed it, but the temperature made it not a perfect experience.
I take this opportunity to highlight the good treatment of the waitress Raquel Sousa. We feel very comfortable with her :)“

“I'm just thrilled. Totally nice owner couple who take care of all guests' needs. Always up for a joke, after several visits we can vouch for good food. Even things that weren't on the menu were fulfilled...

“This restaurant is located in one of the most beautiful and authentic areas in São Miguel - Nordeste. It's specifically in the village of Salga and the view is beautiful! In August we can even see the sunset. The owners are very friendly and kind and their specialty is a very tasty traditional Azorean pizza made in a wood-fired oven - just so you know, traditional Azorean pizza has a slightly thicker crust (influenced by pizza from the USA) than traditional Italian romana pizza. This is due to the fact that Azorean history is closely linked to the USA, since many Azoreans emigrated there in the 20th century and many exchanges took place. I totally recommend this place!“

“A magical experience and a must in the Azores. Grab a drink and take a stroll around the garden as the sun sets then sit down to a multicourse meal of delicious, truly local (as local as it gets) food. The preparations are simple and humble, so if you’re expecting a Michelin style meal, you’ll possibly be let down. However, if you appreciate a home cooked meal of the highest level, this is nothing but a memorable experience.“

“Buffet of 100% homemade food and desserts. Two delicious broths first. 4 seconds, fried peas with sweet potatoes, honeyed roast beef, chops or lagareiro, baked tuna.It must be admitted that they have a very good cook because the tuna and meat were very, very juicy.Normal but delicious desserts.I will be back.€14, drinks included.“
“Chose this restaurant for our first night in the area (always a good test!) and we were not disappointed. Lovely friendly welcome, great setting out on the terrace, perched on a Cliffside and some lovely fresh pink to get the evening off to a start. The fish was delicious and we were all delighted with the dishes and flavours. Definitely worth booking to get a nice table.“

“It's mainly the locals who eat here, and less the tourists. Because you have to know where it is. However, if you love meat, you will find one of the best meat restaurants on the island. It is located on an agricultural facility, so actually right at the source... Most of the meat pieces are 300 grams in size and can be chosen in three different quality levels.
There are also various homemade sauces, for example inspirations with pepper or cheese.
The restaurant is very popular, you can either reserve directly or have yourself added to the list on site.
The portions are quite generous and the matching wines are also on offer. So, when you are in Sao Miguel, you should visit this restaurant if you love meat. (Fine tuna is also available)“

“A perfect place to try the authentic cocido das Furnas made underground with the heat emanating from the caldeiras. The portions are large, so think about sharing among several even if it serves 2. If you want soup, it comes separately, since the stew itself does not have liquid, but rather the typical vegetables and meat that accompany it. In addition, the waiters were very nice and made our food very pleasant.“

“Homemade and local food, excellent value for money, meat and fish and very good, and the rice pudding was delicious, we went to eat there for two days, we also found a photo of one of the owners with Djokovic who was there last year . Highly recommended, also with parking right in front of the restaurant and it closes late, at 4:30 p.m., we did not reserve either time and we had a table immediately“

“We had a quick and delicious lunch here with soup, bifanas, and burgers made on the local bolos lêvados. They were much larger than what we had bought previously at the store. The coffee and pastries were also good. The ladies working were welcoming and helped us select items for the kids.“

“If you want to try their geothermally cooked food - you MUST book in advance. As all the reviews have mentioned - the portions are HUGE - one dish can easily serve two people, or even three - no matter how good you think you are at eating! The food is very good quality overall and the premium prices reflect the taste and portions. We visited in early August - so it was very busy at lunch time. Might be a bit quieter away from the holiday season.“

“Agua d'Alto beach is great. The restaurant is beautiful, the atmosphere is good, on the seaside it's great. The service is OK, but they are quickly overwhelmed by events as soon as the customer base builds up. Arrive early, say before 6:30 p.m. to get better service.
Parking: You can park on the street, if it is full, there is a parking lot at the top of the hill which can hold a lot of cars. Don't worry if there are a lot of people, they are not necessarily at the restaurant, they are possibly at the beach.“

“We loved this restaurant so much we came back for dinner the next night! The views of the islet and the ocean are amazing if you sit outside. Food is delicious. The limpets are especially good. Amazing service. We had the same server both nights and she even remembered our little ones’ allergies.
They had a high chair for our baby and big umbrellas for shade.
Kid-friendliness: High chair available“
“It's a hole in the wall, but adorable. Pizza was good, but if you're an American, don't order sausage because it's Vienna sausage. The regional stake was great. It was sauteed with garlic and red pepper. The fries are just like any other fries in this country, thin, crispy, and generally good. The salad was good but not amazing. Everything was very well priced, so you're not breaking the bank. Service was very nice, and attentive, and seemingly multilingual. She spoke different languages different customers. That's what I love about this country, you could be from anywhere, and they still can communicate with you. There is no parking for the restaurant, but there's plenty of parking around it.“

“I had my wedding at the Q'énosso restaurant, everything was amazing! WELCOME drink service after my ceremony, the incredible soup! The food served in a buffet format chosen by me, super delicious! Impeccable bar table service! Always helpful! I'm sorry I don't have food records to see how good it looked! But being the bride it was difficult for me to be photographing these details! Super pays to do events at the restaurant! I really enjoyed it! I was able to divide up the space to hold the civil ceremony and the wedding, everything as I envisioned ? A big thank you to the gentlemen at the bar table and the kitchen team for the fantastic food! Not forgetting Mr Carlos Furtado and his daughter Analisa! ?“
“Good place to eat delicious pizza without spending too much. The dough is not too high and the ingredients are fresh and well served. Very friendly staff but sometimes orders take a while to arrive. after food arrives we see that it was worth the wait ?“

“It was never crowded here in the evenings. We had pre-ordered 1 Cozido when making the reservation, but unfortunately it was no longer available that evening. The next day it worked and was delicious. 1 serving is easily enough for 2 people. Service was ok so far.
When we were there they were redoing the terrace“

“Very tasty burgers and crispy fries with a direct sea view. You have to order at the counter inside and the food is then brought to the table.
Vegetarian options: There was also a vegetarian burger. This was also very tasty.“
