It is a nice place to have an afternoon meal. Great variety os pastries with fair prices and great quality. If you dine in there is an additional cost (30cent I think) on each item. And please stop breaking all cakes in half!

We had heard so much about Atelier do Doce that we finally gave it a try. The venue is quite big and the adjacent coffee house has a very large terrace overlooking a beautiful view which is somewhat obstructed by many pine trees. We tried several cakes: salted caramel cheese cake, mille feuilles, Bola de Berlim (doughnut) and Semifrio de Salted Caramel. Presentation was fine but taste was far too sweet like it's often the case in Portugal pastry shops. A shame as the overall ambiance of this atelier is rather pleasant.

Cakes and pastries to die for...., literally true if you are prone to over-indulgence and easily done with what's on offer! A tremendous assortment of fabulous pastries The fresh baked donuts with fruit fillings are a delight. The Witch's house from the Hansel & Gretel tale couldn't hold a candle to this establishment for choice, quality and prices.
