“I didn't eat here so I can't comment on the food but the drinks are good and a decent price. The music is great though and the service is so friendly. I really recommend it. We've ended our night here a couple of times and it's been the perfect spot.“
“We’ve been going to Alagoa bar/cafe for a few years, it’s by far the most friendliest and welcoming place for drinks and snacks no matter what time of the day (or evening). The owners speak good English and nothing is too much trouble. Food is fresh and home cooked, and the drinks are very reasonably priced. It’s always busy so it can be difficult finding a free table but it’s a great place to chill and watch the world go by (people watch!). Would highly recommend.“

“Superb location just on the seafront, attentive and friendly staff, fabulous selection of wines, and an interesting and varied menu of lovely food - the cheese board was to "die for".Look out for the music events where you pay a small amount for a reserved table and watch some excellent musicians.Vegetarian options: It's not easy being vegetarian in Portugal, but I was happy at Cantaloupe.“
“Came down here for pre-dinner drinks and simply wow - the Mango Mojito and Passionfruit Mojito are simply amazing. Even better on the happy hour prices make this a very reasonable location! And the crisps that were made fresh are also fantastic - cannot recommend this place enough! Staff, decor and seating are also amazing. The only reason and downside why this is not a 5-star rating was because the 3 managers that were just sat outside on the tables, and not caring for us when we needed service, making us wait nearly 10 minutes to be served, but other than that the actual bartenders and waitress were super helpful and friendly.“

“Next to the national 2 in Faro is Café Bar Apolo, a fantastic Gin bar and more. This establishment offers more than 600 different Gins, prepared by an expert who knows exactly what he is doing. I'm from outside but every time I go to Faro I always visit this fantastic bar where I ask Mr João to make a gin to your liking. If you end the fashionable road on the N2, be sure to visit this space where you will certainly not regret it.“

“We went to eat at 7imeio last night and it was nothing but happiness: charming and attentive staff, excellent meal with very fresh fish and divinely seasoned salad plus excellent desserts, namely orange sorbet and Pavlova (Huge!). Very reasonable price of €60 for two, wine included. Very fun motley decor, nice mezzanine and active service. We will gladly come back.“

“Local tapas bar in Santa Luzia. Quick 5 minute drive from centre of Tavira. Well worth it for fresh seafood. Excellent tapas. The tuna will melt in your mouth. The town is famous for being the Octopus capital of Portugal. Their octopus salad is to die for. Highly recommend.“
“SO cheap & probably the best place in Faro if you're looking to play pool and watch the football with 5 large tables and huge 4K screens on the wall. had about 10 pints and couple hours on a table for just over £15! also got an electronic dart board. staff are very kind & friendly.“

“This place was so good that we returned the next night (and we only had 2 nights in Lisbon). The service was perfect both nights. The lasagna was amazing and the atmosphere was delightful. Highly recomment it but be sure to make reservations because the inside seating is limited.“

“Walked past in the morning and thought we would give it a go. A very warm and friendly welcome and in English was forthcoming. We just had coffee and cake, which were both delicious. They do food all day until 21:30 and if its as good as the cake we will give that a try too. I'm glad we popped in“

“The restaurant is aimed more at portions than at menus. It is located on a quiet street and you can park nearby. Their menu is based on snack dishes, clams, mojama, breaded powder, tuna tarantella in oil, etc. It is a good choice if you are not looking for a place to eat Portuguese stews, fish or meat. The letter seems a little short to me.“
