Our experience leads us to say that the best is the roast chicken and potatoes. We always go there because it has fair, satisfactory prices and Mainly because it is open from 12 pm to 9 pm, qiue is extremely rare here and allows us to enjoy a post-beach meal. The attendees are typical Portuguese with a beautiful mix of other races, allowing us a pleasant humanistic contact through simplicity and originality. Serves as an example to others.

Food excellent,and fabulous value at 9 euros for plate du hour,drink and coffee. Chocolate biscuit cake even better. Will be back asap before we leave Portugal for sure. Update: in 10 nights staying near Tavira we ate here three times, enough said. Kebab fantastic.

A simple and understandable cafe “for locals”. Several dishes to choose from. One price for the combination of dish+drink+coffee. A great place to stop while cycling or walking. It was open on Monday and almost full at lunchtime.

I love this place. It's more of a bistro, integrated into the local population, like a shared terrace. Tradesmen come by for breakfast, lunch and after work. The older people too. Some also pick up their food and eat at home. There is a very family atmosphere between local guests and staff. People joke and talk across generations. Guests stay for a while, leave and then return after a while. A quiet coming and going, with plenty of time to exchange ideas with each other.It's a shame I don't speak Portuguese.There is a weekly menu with changing lunch plus a drink plus a cafe for €9.50. The portion is really sufficient and we always enjoyed it. There were also days when my wife and I shared a portion.The bar is also sufficiently stocked so that anyone can have a drink.The staff is friendly and courteous. The restaurant is not designed for tourists. The prices are moderate. I can only recommend the Conquistador. If you have the time, it invites you to linger.Please stay like that.

Low neighborhood atmosphere and too busy with masses of tourists who want to eat cheaply.Frozen fries, salads without seasoning but available with mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard.Grilled chicken specialty.Fortunately it is well salted and well grilled, but it is battery chicken with flesh that resembles tuna.But for the price...economical what more can you ask for.The toilets are limited.The staff is overwhelmed and cats swarm between the tables.For months, a place to forget immediately.
