Fantastic little spot in the heart of a beautiful town. Fresh cooked food that is as delicious as the smiles that greet you. The owner has a wonderful sense of humour and the prices are affordable for frequent visits. Highly recommend trying the pig cheeks or the omelettes… my husband loves the fish and chips. ;)
The food here is delicious, authentic Portuguese, the kind your grandma might cook. I had the squid and my wife, the fish and chips. The squid were cooked and served whole, with a subtle smoky, garlic flavor. The fish and chips were cooked just right: lightly breaded. The house Portuguese “green” wine was damn near perfect. Prices more than reasonable. Terrace table with a great view of the square.
