The maronesa steak is fabulous! Excellent service. Cozy space with terrace, a small room on the ground floor and a larger room on the 1st floor. Very well decorated.

We had a quiet cozy lunch at this location. We were immediately offered knowledge on wines and the local meat. Thanks to the waiters help we ended up having an amazing experience where we got to try very unique meat and wine.
The meat was delicious and to the point. Very very tasty and really good portions! If you do not eat a lot by yourself I would recommend getting the half portion instead.
All in all will come back whenever visiting!

Excellent restaurant!
My boyfriend and I went to Mondim de Basto and discovered this incredible place. Firstly, we were immediately well received. I dare say that I ate some of the best pataniscas here. We also chose a fish dish (grilled squid) and a meat dish (maronesa steak) - half a portion of each.
It is also worth highlighting the excellent atmosphere and excellent decoration.
Everything was perfect. We are sure that we will return there.
