Nowadays, in Portugal, nobody eats a pig in a poke and whoever has an open establishment has to maintain a certain quality and seriousness...or it's not worth it.That being said, after seeing the comments and as I was in the area, I decided to stop for something to eat, on the phone they immediately said that they had several fish dishes...However..Very high prices considering the reality of the country and the real value of the dishes (€10 for soup and a slice of dogfish...€15 for an individual portion of a common dish...); bread fried in oil (to save money) to accompany the dogfish soup (either fry it in olive oil or present the bread cold!); desserts with cream without the normal texture (a sign of having been made for several days); and very high prices.The friendliness and service of the kids serving are the only great thing about this restaurant.I hope this review, from someone who is used to eating from all over the country, and loves real Alentejo food; make the cook reflect and help improve

I definitely recommend it, the fresh food, the large dishes, no one leaves hungry, quite the opposite. I'm sorry I didn't take a photo of the dishes, but homemade cod and veal chop were perfect.From our experience it was the best place to have dinner in Montargil.P.S. Don't be intimidated by the entrance, it looks like a typical cafe, but at the back there is a room.
