For once, I was tricked in the right way! Tourist area, great view, we know that we take the risk of paying a lot for fast food with cheap service...Not at Hel-Bar!! Great welcome from Helder, great service, real cuisine made by experienced Portuguese cooks who will satisfy your demanding taste buds...secretos de porco, bacalhau a casa, tomato soup, red wine from the south of Lisbon, almond tart.. .except for the fries, everything else is homemade and frankly what a pleasure to eat tender meat, cod that comes apart with the back of the spoon...no photos this time, as we weren't hungry, took trapped until the end. We will come back, don't change anything except the fries ;-)

We ordered two cataplanas, they did not give us a menu or a quote for them, we ordered a wine and they served us another more expensive one and also chopped, they charged 581 euros, they brought us the bill on a table, without an invoice, I do not recommend it, also the quality is not beyond thawed fish

A real good experience. Dish of the day at 10€, you choose your fresh fish. The waiter offers to serve you the fish by preparing it and removing the bones. Excellent sea bream, with a slight taste of cooking over a wood fire. I would like to point out that this visit took place in November, with few people. I imagine that in summer it is different, because Montegordo and its beautiful beach are crowded. Very attentive service.

In front of the sea, a well decorated, clean restaurant with a menu for all tastes and above average service! The fish/seafood is always fresh and of high quality! Delicious and quality desserts, wide variety! Large number of tables but I recommend booking especially in high season!In Monte Gordo, a restaurant not to be missed! Prices are a little high but the quality of the food is justified from the first bite.? With a family atmosphere the good mood is always present!
