Gilson offers an exceptional dining experience. The service is welcoming, and the starters, such as cheese gratins, veal croquettes, and eggs with farinheira, immediately warm the soul. The dishes are presented beautifully and packed with flavor, with meat cooked to perfection and vegetables treated with care. The panacotta and the wine cellar are additional reasons to visit this establishment. This small family restaurant, lost on site surrounded by buildings, has a friendly welcome and efficient and attentive service. A superb wine list features guidance from the passionate owner. The very good, generous cuisine is prepared by the owner's son with fresh, quality products, from appetizers to desserts. Plates arrive with visual surprise and then taste. It is one of the best, with great food, presentation, and service. Parking is available in front. Wheelchair accessibility includes an entrance to the tour. Always a wonderful experience, with food, atmosphere, and wines loved. Mr. João and his son are a spectacular duo, excellent in their service and super friendly.
