My wife and I are on a mini-break in the Alentejo and have just had dinner here; what a fantastic little restaurant. Being able to try many different local, tapas-style dishes was a treat, the food was excellent and the owner Enio is passionate about the food and being an exceptional host. Cannot recommend enough. There are limited seats so get there early/make a reservation and be sure to bring cash!

The menu is well thought out, taking into account the concept of sharing. The service is fluid. The dishes presented were not dazzling. They are well made and finished. The couple responsible for the service is very attentive and always shows availability to customers. I would also give 5 stars for the kitchen. I just don't do it because I would prefer that with the same dose of the two pataniscas, they could make 4 smaller ones. A little more octopus would come in handy. The farinheira with eggs. I prefer it cooked or grilled. It removes fat and leaves you with a more refined taste. I recommend the experience.

We were two people doing national 2 on a motorbike and we were told that they were full and had several reservations coming at 2:00 pm when the kitchen closes at 2:30 pm and there were at least two tables. I think it must have been the helmets that took up too much space, I don't recommend it to motorcyclists doing the national 2

Our most recent discovery in Mora. Food made with knowledge and a different concept than usual. It is advisable to reserve as the space is not very large. We highlight the Tomato Soup, the Stewed Oxtail, the Sweet Potato Migas and an excellent Chocolate Mousse. Very friendly service.

We went to dinner yesterday at Tasca do Gigante and everything was perfect, the space is super welcoming and has a really cool terrace on the streets of Alentejo. The service was great, Mr Énio was super friendly and funny and it is a family restaurant. The food was immensely good and I loved the concept of sharing and trying different dishes, our favorite was the dogfish alhada and the octopus pataniscas. For dessert we ordered the best chocolate mousse we've ever had in our lives and the moraine cheese which was divine.
We loved everything from the food to the decor.Congratulations, much success
