Arrived quite late and used broken Portuguese to make enquiries and order. The woman was very nice and friendly and helped me order. Some kids were having a guitar lesson in the other side of the restaurant which added to the charm. I recommend this place if you have to use the airport

We researched the neighbourhood restaurants and decided on O Sapáo for our final evening in Portugal dinner. It was fantastic! Susan was our waitress and was so warm and attentive. She helped us through the menu, made wonderful suggestions and was a lovely representative at her families business. I highly recommend this cozy little place if you're near the airport or passing through. The prices were very reasonable, the portions are generous and it was a charming atmosphere.

Not so tasty. Fries not cooked. Chicken or actually it was grilled turkey schnitzel was delicious and so was the rice. Burger and fries not so good. The air conditioning was switched on with the advice that the smell would then be more bearable for us. Phew, it really smelled like grease there. Not to our taste. Burger King or McDonald’s (I’m not a fan of either) are better….

The atmosphere is lovely, great local foods excellent service <we've been to many places but was not impressed until we found this cute place that has offered us the most charming personality and top top service of Portugese people> with the service and the foods, the price is much valueable. You won't get this price with amazing full course meals and great service anywhere in touristic places + amazing chocolate mouse. and Located very near to the airport.
