I recommend the Café Park restaurant! It's my and my grandmother's favorite restaurant every time we go to Mortágua. I had read good reviews for the DOP and booked a reservation before going to Porto. I was pleasantly surprised by the decor, atmosphere and size of the restaurant which was very appealing. I was expecting a good meal but it far surpassed what I had envisioned. My croaker, which I had never had, was delicious and my son had a whole chicken carved at the table which was served with a special rice. The staff was helpful; wine was superb. I highly recommend.
DOP is hands-down the best restaurant and dining experience I’ve ever had! If you come to Porto, do not miss out on this place! The staff, the food, the overall ambiance…top notch!

We really enjoyed our dinner (salt crusted sea bass). My Old Fashioned was spot on perfect. We had an appetizer of grilled oysters which were AMAZING. Dessert was creative. Attentive staff.
