Simple but great restaurant in a calm area close to the river. Come here to enjoy your meal without rushing, the service is very attentive and you will be delighted. We had a very good vitela estufada with salad, fries and rice, plus a nice small portion of migas.

Great restaurant with a magnificent view of the Douro, a world heritage site. Family atmosphere, relaxed and honest. Excellent food, with the boss saying that one portion was enough for two people. And it did, in an unforgettable way

I come here from the UK 2 or 3 times a year, arriving by train. The food is excellent with big portions, the staff are very attentive and the wine is nice, and it is reasonably priced. A very good place to spend a couple of hours looking over the river.

Fantastic!
It is next to a beautiful train station, the trains pass by and whoever is by the window not only hears and sees the train passing by, but also sees the Douro River.
The food is divine, the piece of veal is fantastic. Service is quick and friendly.
