“Restaurant with two good dining rooms and a small additional room for groups of up to 12 people, allowing for great privacy, whether for work or with family or friends.
The food is served in generous portions, with good presentation and good quality in general.
We tried and recommend dishes such as tuna belly, pink swordfish fillets, naco, or dogfish fillets and black pork neck (on a previous visit). For desserts, the well-made pear tarte tatin (although I found it a little too sweet for our personal taste)
An equally small repair is a little excess vinegar in the tomato rice that accompanies the pink swordfish fillets.
Good wine cellar with a variety of choices in regions and prices.
Congratulations to the chef and the repairs are small and in a constructive sense nothing that prevents the visit.
Parking: In the restaurant courtyard. Very close to the entrance. About 10 seats.
Wheelchair accessibility: Despite not complying with regulatory slopes, there are no access steps and the ramp remains accessible. The interior is spacious and can accommodate a wheelchair. It has a bathroom for people with reduced mobility and a reserved parking space in the park.“

“We went in the evening & the waitress was very friendly. We had great expectations from the other reviews & were underwhelmed. While there were many ootions, to me there was nothing that stood out about the food, it felt like pretty standard vegan buffet fare. For example Herman's in Stockholm is amazing vegan buffet. We had the dessert (which is not included in the buffet price), both were good but again not great.“

“Peculiar restaurant with two environments, on the ground floor it is a bar type and the menu only consists of two dishes to choose from, and on the upper floor a more elegant style, type of celebrations where you have an extensive menu of which the soup must be highlighted /fish cream and goat, the latter spectacular, very delicious and very correct and friendly attention from the waiters. We also ordered a boletus risotto. It caught my attention that paying a supplement of 6.50 you have a circular table in the center of the dining room full of various open buffet-style desserts.
It was a success and a coincidence to go through Sabores Da Cascata.“

“A find! Very friendly and excellent food, we opted for the tapas, generous portions at a balanced price.
It was worth getting out of Abrantes for a bit and “discovering” this place.
Thank you to the entire team, inside and outside the kitchen!!
To be repeated without any hesitation!!!“

“A great find after looking for a decent coffee and cafe in Principe Real. At the Bairro Alto end, it’s a wonderful setting for the best coffee in Lisbon, hands down. The interior is worth a visit but have a coffee, you’ll keep going back.“

“Buffet with varied food.
We had the misfortune of staying in the room outside the Buffet where it was extremely hot, however the friendliness of the staff helped to overcome the not so good part.
The location where this establishment is located is fantastic as it allows for a walk at the end through the green area that takes us to a lake with ducks, fish and turtles.
Good experience overall.“

“One of the best restaurants we've ever eaten at, the fritters were wonderful and the bean rice was even better ?, not to mention the wonderful lime pie, fresh, not at all cloying, and very crunchy ? the staff was very efficient, friendly, and very attentive.
We will come back for sure“

“We went almost by chance, looking for a restaurant in the area. It was a right choice! One drawback: it's a little dark, which helps in summer as it's cooler. Mr. "Whiskers" is a curious figure and reveals himself if we strike up a conversation. The food was impeccable!“

“Although the interior space is relatively small, the terrace is very pleasant and is very well arranged and decorated. Table service is provided after the order is placed inside the store.
Both the sweets and the savory are very good.“

“At 7 p.m., we were the first people in the restaurant, but it was filled by 8 p.m. Appetizers on the table. Enjoyed pork in a mushroom sauce with rice, and salmon; both nicely presented on a large wooden plank and brought to the table by a robot. Bright lighting and plenty of parking.“
“O Emigrante is an unpretentious café-restaurant located at the market-square of Evoramonte. Alejento cuisine define its character. The restaurant is family owned and managed. Service is very friendly. The daughter of the owners, who is also serving at the restaurant, speaks English well. The restaurant is open for drinks, lunch & dinner and is popular with locals as well as tourists. You can dine inside or at the terrace at the square. We came on a weekday for dinner and the place was busy with local men enjoying social gossip and a glass of beer after a way of work. We dined at the terrace and went for pork chops and turkey chops, both with home made potato chips and salad, accompanied with a small bottle of Alejento red. Both the dishes had two large chops. When you fancy less meat, go for sharing and ask extra chips. When you want an OK dinner, O Emigrante is the place for you. Don’t expect fine dining.“

“Excellent river fish (varieties that vary according to the season and the fishing carried out by the owners, who are the fishermen themselves). Meat option available, recommending the black pork secrets, kebabs and sirloin steaks. All accompanied with a variety of side dishes included, such as roe bread or endive salad (seasonal).
Kid-friendliness: With a large and spacious terrace
Wheelchair accessibility: Large, accessible and walkable outdoor terrace. Access to the interior through a door that can be opened. Open area, easy to get around, including the bathrooms.“

“We didn't know, but we became customers, and next time we'll make the reservation as instructed. We loved the friendliness with which we were welcomed, the surroundings of the dam, the homemade food, that delicious tomato soup, the perfectly grilled fataça, the divine migas and the tomato salad certainly picked from the garden because that flavor does not deceive. Due to the large number of people, reservations are recommended to guarantee a table.“

We also ordered a bottle of "Ermelinda" wine. We didn't eat dessert, nor did we order coffee.
Everything was very well served, quality and quantity. I recommend!!“

“The food was good despite having too much salt. The wait between ordering and delivery was too long as there were later orders served first. We ended up not even drinking coffee because even though the room wasn't full, the employee didn't care even though we called several times.“

“Food with a lot of quality, it was a place where I haven't stopped for a long time, but which maintains the quality I was used to. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, service is a bit slow due to the number of customers, but it's worth the wait“
“We were recommended to try this restaurant and it did not disappoint. I ordered the grilled fish and received a whole fish plus sides. Delicious. We arrived when it opened and it filled up quite fast. Service was lovely. Such a nice local feel.“
“We had lunch here on a day tour from Funchal. We chose just the right time as there were a few tables free when we sat down but within 10 minutes it was full. I ordered a ham and cheese toasty which came with chips and was only €4.50! For the amount of food it was really quite cheap. We sat outside which was nice, but don't expect a nice view - it is next to a car park and on the main road. Service was good.“

“They don't take reservations, but we had no problem finding a table. The staff is scarce but they were very attentive and advised us well. The seared cod was very delicious, the clams too and we ate an exquisite sea bass, cooked on the grill. Very good homemade desserts. We saw that the people who arrived later had to wait a little for the food,“
