“We were delighted to find this lovely little cafe across the road from our hotel. After a long travel day it was just what we needed. My fish was simply delicious as was my husband's chicken. Excellent coffee. Bread, olives and salad, main meals with a bottle of wine, coffees and a glass of port for less than €40. We'll be back before the end of our trip!“

“Excellent piece of stone. I recommend the starter alheira. Piano wine accompanies the excellence of the meat. Attentive and friendly service, although a little slow. The space and views on one side of the room forgive the delay and invite you to spend a good couple of hours at the table with good conversation. To repeat, perhaps for roast lamb.“

“This is a kind of place that i love in...in a remote area from traz os montes you can find home made cooking from starters to the meet on the fire place , the meet was so tasty ... if you want enjoy tradicional and pure one just drop a call to the owner and reserve your dinner/launch... “We had a gorgeous meal here tonight, in a restaurant seemingly full of locals. The food was good quality local food, so really good fish (we had sea bass and a stew of shrimps and bread). Starters were good too, a fresh salad and a stuffed mushroom dish. The setting is nice, clean and modern, and the staff were great, including a waiter who spoke excellent English which we appreciated. We were really glad to have stepped out of our hotel and found this restaurant.“

“Traditional Portuguese food very tasty and well prepared. We went on tripe day. For those who like this dish from the North of the country, they were prepared in an exceptional way. They took me back to my childhood, to the flavors of the "double" made by my grandmother Violante.The women in my life (wife and daughters) preferred the mixed grill. It was made with very good meats, all very well grilled.The price is very good for the good quality of the food.It is worth trying when passing through Sanfins do Douro!“

“Small local restaurant, with lots of local people and a relaxed atmosphere. We had a very good barbecue chicken. The house wine was good and very inexpensive. A meal for two for less than 20 euro - amazing. Friendly service, spoke sufficient English to explain the menu. Can be recommended for a nice dinner in Alijo.“

“This place is an absolute must! We were recommended by our tour guide from a Vineyard tour, she definitely didn’t steer us wrong! The food, the staff, the vibe, everything was perfect! Plus- it was super cheap compared what the price should have been! We met a couple from London in the waiting line that said they liked it so much that it was their second time eating there over the previous 3 days! We could see why after we finished our meal, so amazing!!!! Definitely a must to try!“

“Good little restaurant, with proposals for typical Portuguese recipes, and pizzas. Very rich, flavors at the rendezvous. On the other hand, a small problem, to be avoided in the evening, because it is very crowded and the service is quite slow with take-out orders. The perfect lunch.“

“Definately the best restaurant on the Island Flores. Not only the food is great but the location with the view from the garden over the ocean is breath taking! Here you can see beatiful sun sets. We had diner twice and all was delicious. The limpets, grilled fish, lamb, sea weed pie, beef, peanut ice cream, everything was delicious, home made, I guess the veggies from the garden of the owners. The owners are very kind and work hard and create a very relaxed admosphere as well. We even got a welcome wine and honey liquor since we stayed in their traditional holliday house for about a week. Can highly reccoment this restaurant. It's best to make a reservation since the place is not too big but if fully booked for lunch or diner, just go there for a drink and enjoy the beautiful view in the garden!“
