The best burger in the world.

Had lunch today at Alem-Bica for the first time. I had the daily special which was bochechas with cheese on a portuguese soft roll. It was outrageous, so tender and delicious. Can't beat the price super reasonable. The owner super friendly. I will go back again and try the burger which it is known for. I give Alem-Bica 5 Stars it deserves it.
Very good food but very slow service
Awesome place, the owner is lovely and the food was delicious will definitely go again if I have the chance.
Nous avons trouvé ce café par hasard. Tout était parfait, l'accueil, la décoration et surtout le meilleur hamburger que j'ai mangé jusqu'à maintenant. Une belle découverte
Very good surprise, we stopped at Alèm-Bica for lunch while traveling from Torreira to Coimbra and we had a great time. The host is very kind, he recommended the honey mustard hamburger which was incredible ! Will definitely come again if we have a chance in the future.
Delicious meals, friendly and attentive atmosphere.
Great place. Frank is always so pleasant and inviting. Food is amazing. Unique twists on tosta mistas. The hamburger M&M is a must try. Delicious!
The different soups are very delicious. Also among other things, I ate the best hamburger in my life here (better than the Wagyu beef I ate in Japan ? To my opinion, yes !) The whole hamburger was an explosion of tastes in my mouth. I will go back for another.
We were welcomed by Francisco who speaks faultless English and is passionate about providing the best to his customers. Normally I am not a burger fan but his burgers deserve a medal. His sauce of Honey & Mustard made it very special. Also I would consider it the bargain of the whole trip. If you want a real treat at a very reasonable price look no further.

A neat little cafe in Murtosa, not so far from Aveiro. It has the feel and coziness of a small New England university town. It is a nice place to hang out with good coffee and pastry. What is definitely outstanding is the hamburger with its honey mustard sauce. That alone is worth a visit.
Very friendly owner and delicious fresh homemade burgers. Makes you feel like home with wonderful service with decorations. Can’t wait to go back and try the soup
Very quiet peaceful restaurant in Murtosa, delicious soups and sandwiches with excellent service. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and the host is multi lingual. Great place
The quaintest little coffee shop!Frank welcomes every single patron like family and he immediately fusses around you to make sure you are comfortable and feeling relaxed.Below his unassuming persona is a consummate Hotelier attentive to every signal each patron sends. It is such a treat to visit Além Bica.Ps: The beer was bitter cold just the way I love it! Mom loved the fact that he hated up her glass so that her water was neither room temperature or ice cold but somewhere in between. It's the little things really that make big memories.Thank you Frank
