“Right in between the meat and fish markets, namely the two hottest spots in Olhão, it is the perfect place to sit down, have break and a grab a bite. They serve really good fish appetisers and huge sandwiches with tuna, shrimps or salmon at a very cheap price and in big portions. I liked everything, but the tuna salad, which I think was just canned tuna. It takes time to be served, even in relatively chilled autumn weekdays. But take it as part of the slow food experience…“

Very effective in decoration while remaining simple.
On the other hand, the dishes are just magnificent,
The cod is in its place.
Or maybe it’s the place for cod.
good, tasty, quite plentiful.
The wines offered match the dishes.
The local beers offered are very good.
On the next visit, I order meat, which looks just as good.
I don't understand that some of the people next to me ordered chicken and fries, which is not on the menu, but which they were kind enough to serve to them ???.

“So I got these little balls and the Mexican empanadas as starters, the chilli for main abd cheesecake for desert.The food is good. The chilli looks the same as in the menu, that's why I didn't take any pictures. In the menu it says to share but I was sharing it with my mom and the portion didn't make us satisfied, we even asked for more wrap pieces and even with that, it was not enough. I don't think it's a portion to share at all.Having said that, I would like to point out that if you are in a hurry, this restaurant is not for you. We stayed around two hours for this lunch ( the restaurant was never full, when we got there, one table besides ours, already eating, and then after we started eating, a few more tables).The restaurant offers mostly vegetarian options, with a selection of vegan options.I also felt like the person who was serving us maybe was new staff to the restaurant as they didn't have the answers when I asked some questions about the menu options being vegan or vegetarian as I was confused about some items on the menu. He then went into the kitchen area to ask a colleague and came back telling me that the heura has egg whites therefore it's not vegan, which left me even more confused as the brand heura is fully vegan. So either they are using some fake heura or they don't know what's vegan or not, which is not very comforting to hear, as I make a lot of efforts to keep my vegan diet.

The menu has a starter that was very delicious puree and a main course to choose between fish, pork fillet, beef, with side dishes of potatoes, salad, white rice. We couldn't handle dessert. We ordered a coffee, and they gave us a typical brandy to try. Very good sangria to drink. It is a family restaurant with a very good atmosphere.
The man who served us and his wife were very pleasant, as was the lady cook, they made an effort to speak in Spanish, especially dedicated to making my daughters happy with the food.
