Be careful, tourist trap, very expensive for Portugal.

We ordered a plate of seafood and risotto with seafood and local wine, as it quickly turned out, it was supposed to be in a carafe and we received bottled wine, but we waved it off. They immediately brought the so-called starter, i.e. appetizers, without asking, but we refused because in Portugal they charge extra for it. We also wanted to take risotto for 3 people, but the waiter did not agree. The seafood platter was for 3 people, so why not risotto? We ate and the food was good, although the risotto had too much rice and too little seafood for my taste, but we ate it well. When it came to paying the bill and we wanted to pay by card, it turned out that we couldn't. Only cash !! The waiter brought the bill, if you can even call it that. It was a handwritten card with the amount we had to pay, i.e. 206 euros without items. We knew well how much it costs to calculate later, i.e. wine 14 euros, risotto 50 euros and a seafood plate 120 euros, i.e. a total of 184 euros. So we asked him to show us how much it cost. He turned the card over and there was a handwritten amount which was correct, i.e. 184 euros, but he added a 22 euro tip without even informing us about it. An ordinary customer would pay it and add a tip, unaware that the waiter had already added a tip, and that it was quite a bit higher. We paid what was written in the items and a few euros tip, but it was as much as we thought. As for the decor, it's a normal pub like many of them there.
In short, the food is tasty, what we ordered, but you have to be careful that the place with the service does not charge you with additional hidden costs that I will not inform you about.

Tourist trap. The waiter brings unordered dishes to your table and quickly makes you pay for them once you have deposited the paper bill!
Average food, very poor price/quality ratio!
TO FLEE !!!!

I went with a group of friends. Our experience was not very good. We ordered a rosé sangria and they served a red wine sangria. We ordered fish pasta because the waiter said there was no seafood... When the dish arrived, the pasta was served with shrimp... And no salt. What was worth it was the friendliness of the staff, which is why I didn't make a formal complaint. As an apology they offered us a glass of port wine.

We should have checked the reviews before choosing this restaurant. There were no prices for drinks which resulted in exorbitant prices. Additionally, the starter was terrible (a mix of mayonnaise and ketchup with a can of crab), and the service was expeditious, leading to a salty bill. So avoid it.

Tourist trap. To avoid.
Ask to pay only in cash, the waiters are not pleasant. The bill, we thought it was a joke, it was an illegible rag.

Wow! This place was fantastic! We stumbled into this place not knowing what to expect and were very pleased. The clams were so good. We eat them all over when we’re in Portugal and these were hands down the best. The arroz with Lulas was sooo flavorful. Everyone really enjoyed their food. The dessert was good too. The location is great; right across from the ocean. 10/10 will be going again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a delicious meal.

Restaurant to ABSOLUTELY avoid ! A piece of plastic in my octopus ( probably frozen ), overpriced meals, no drink menu, a lack of transparency regarding the receipt, a very pushy waiter... The worst restaurant in Nazaré that should be closed for misleading its customers.

A restaurant that, because it is on the beachfront, only cares about trying to deceive customers, with banal food for the area, they bring food without being asked for with absurd prices.
