We ordered two coffees with milk and a small apple tart. They charged us €5 and the latte was milk with coffee water. I didn't see the lady refill the coffee pot and I suspect it was from a previous refill. An awful lot of coffee. The worst thing is that one of the people who attended became violent with people who had consumed and were accessing the bathrooms. That person kept complaining about people going to the bathroom, and during the time we were there, everyone was a customer.

The service was friendly, but there wasn't really anything else in the cafe. The selection of savory and sweet is really limited, and the presentation is not attractive at all. The cafe mostly seemed like someone's hobby, where there was absolutely no investment in comfort or the products for sale.. The only plus is the location and the cheap prices, if you find something to buy. The toilet is only for customers, but there is also no paper at all.

Place where antipathy is king in Nazaré. I don't even know how they keep the house open. The luck is that it's just tourism.

Very rude staff/owner we sat outside, my elderly sister uses a walker … a sign advised that orders were taken inside rather than at the table so I went inside to ask for menus and the lady just shrugged and gestured with both hands to the display cabinet… I explained that my elderly sister who uses a walker couldn’t manage the steps up to the counter would like to view a menu to which a male member of staff said we don’t have menus, what are you looking for … lunch? …. I replied yes please to which he said well, we are not about lunch, we are more about coffee … despite the fact that people were sat at tables eating tostas etc … I distinctly felt discriminated against as I was English and that they were not bothered about our custom. Absolute disgusting behaviour, avoid this establishment if you can, I’ve never felt so insulted.
I see absolutely no problem with this place. If you dislike it go somewhere else.

Pleasant and authentic bar, few frills, very popular with locals, nice atmosphere, cheap products for all tastes.

Rude and unprofessional service. Doubtful prices that are changed at the will of the establishment. I do not recommend this establishment. Nazaré deserves better.
I just wanted to drink a coffee, we went in and it was full (Tudor big wave challenge), we ordered our coffees, took them to the table, and then went to the bathroom. There was a huge queue and there is also a sign saying that the bathroom is for customers only, which I understand and support. We were in line, and a woman appeared behind the counter, shouting at me, with so many people in line, and saying, ma'am, the bathrooms are only for customers, I politely replied that I had just finished drinking my coffee, etc., and another employee said yes, we were customers. Such a rude way of addressing me was unacceptable. You can't shout like that to anyone, let alone a customer. If you don't want people from the street to use the bathroom (and there were some there) you have to check better to know if someone is a customer or not before shouting at someone. To avoid

Quite a good espresso americano; service indifferent, but not rude; restroom clean enough; location splendid; only accepts sounding cash...

Very friendly and polite staff! They were never xenophobic or rude to anyone. The latest comments are from unhappy people who are distorting the story. I was present and Inês simply removed her and the other waiter's cell phones from the table when these women placed things on top of their belongings. Therefore, they were the ones who were at fault when they placed their belongings on top of the belongings of others (employees). Then, these women started shouting that the employee was xenophobic and that she was afraid that their cell phones would be stolen, when that was not the reason. The cafe welcomes mostly foreigners, if they were xenophobes they wouldn't be working there, just think. People only react to the misunderstanding of customers who often do not give space for communication with employees.Furthermore, the bathrooms are only intended for customers who consume in the establishment. It's sad to see customers mistreating staff and then coming to complain and wanting to report something that didn't happen.Comment from a regular customer there.

I was at the Café yesterday and was harassed by the employee Inês and the boy who works there. The attendant was extremely rude, mocking and rude. He refused to hand over the complaints book and rolled his eyes several times.I was touring the city and, honestly, there is no point in a cafe located in a central part of a tourist city, with such a diverse audience, having such horrible service.I'm sure she was xenophobic because with other clients, of other nationalities, the dynamics seemed very different to me.Dirty bathroom, terrible service and unprofessionalism on the part of the staff. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NOT RETURN!
I will NEVER go back. The attendant Inês was completely xenophobic, I asked to use the bathroom and she was extremely rude. He demanded payment, he didn't answer my questions and I was ready to pay for everything I was going to consume, as was done. After using the bathroom she allowed another person (who was not Brazilian) to use it without consuming anything. Not satisfied, she moved the phone away from me, as if I were going to steal it. I was visiting the place, on vacation and on a trip to see the big waves at Praia do Norte. On the way back from the beach I went by and asked for the complaints book and she refused and even stated that she took her cell phone away. I insisted and with great difficulty her co-worker gave it to me, I made the complaint in the book and in the end I said I was sorry, but that if she went to Brazil, she would never be treated in such a way.
I won't be back. High prices . Bad-smelling paperless
