“My partner and I were there a few days ago and we loved it. Although it is not a central place in Nazaré, I assure you that it is worth stopping by to have lunch or dinner here, it is a sure success. Cheap, good and filling food. The waitresses are super friendly and the place is beautiful. A 10 without a doubt.“

“I can't say enough good things about this cafe - it's an absolute must-visit! The curry and naan are simply amazing and will leave you craving more. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The whole atmosphere is just gorgeous, with some authentic details. I completely fell in love with this place! Don't miss it :)“
“We stumbled across this family owned restaurant and enjoyed a “meal of a lifetime.” Mussels, grilled squid and salmon were our main dishes and they were complemented by fresh salads and fish soup. The lemon mousse that finished our meal was pure perfection. When you are in Nazaré, make time to eat a meal at Restaurante Gil Vincente. You won’t be disappointed.“

“I've been going to Nazaré for many years, but I've never been to Pitéu. I really enjoyed the outdoor space and the food was fantastic. We ended up having more meals there. I recommend the sea bass and squid, although the sardines were also divine. The price is very affordable. Care was taken with the plating of all the dishes, not just throwing the sardines with the potatoes onto a plate. The crockery also stood out for its difference. I really enjoyed it, I recommend it and I will be back next year with the family.“

“From the outside my 1st thought was “this is either going to be very bad or extremely good” and it is for sure more than amazing. We started off with some Moelas after being explained that the house’s concept was to share the food. They were superb! After that we moved on to a bife da vazia, cooked to perfection, with homemade fries and bean rice. Just WOW! For deserts we opted for the Delícia de Chocolate and a Cheesecake de Caramelo Salgado - both devine! Very friendly staff and accommodating as we arrived a bit early. Would highly recommended and will for sure be going back in the future.“

Kid-friendliness: Yes!
Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant on the ground floor and plenty of space between tables, we had a baby in the stroller with us and didn't bother anyone passing by“

“A small family-run restaurant, at first we were scared that there was no one in the restaurant, but we arrived 20 minutes before closing time. We were not disappointed. A very narrow selection of food, but at a very reasonable price, really very cheap. We received nice service and delicious food. I recommend it to everyone who wants to eat fish or curry dishes. I wish the operators good luck.“
