Tasteless defrosted shrimp. Better to ask for the lifting of imposed entry fees! No cod or octopus that evening.....we were directed towards very expensive dishes such as lobster and others..... Finally, a thorough service, we feel that there is pressure to sell as much as possible without listening to customers. Extremely noisy room. The dishes consumed are still tasty but the competition is just as good or better. We left without so much as a thank you or goodbye.
We had a completely different image of this restaurant and will not return there again.

The food at this restaurant is quite good and there is no denying that. The fish is always fresh and the food is always well prepared. My negative feedback is really for the employees, in this case for one in particular who served us, an older gentleman. It all started when we ordered the house wine, which was very reasonably priced. When the bottle ran out, we wanted to order another one, but the employee said that he no longer had the one in question but had another one, which was just €3 more than the other. When we went to pay the real price was €11 more for the bottle and not €3. We trusted the person and that was our mistake. The first bottle cost €13 and the other one he suggested was €25 a bottle. Another situation was in relation to water. I ordered some water for myself and asked if they had any of the big bottles, which the man said he didn't have, he only had 0.50cl of the house, that is, the filtered ones. After bringing the water to the table I came across tables with several bottles of water and bottles of the size I wanted. Just to say that each 0.5cl “filtered” water was €2. I felt deceived by this employee who was there to earn a few more euros. I've been there a few times with my family but because of these situations they lose customers.

Another example: seafood rice €42 on the menu for 2 people. We were offered rice with lobster for a slightly higher price. We were charged €87 for the dish for two people. Very expensive restaurant. To avoid.

I'll start by saying that I don't really like Nazaré, however, yesterday I was at this restaurant, which I've known for over 20 years, for a family lunch. And it started badly. An employee, even before we were seated, was already placing a platter with barnacles and shrimp, which isn't very normal but I appreciated the initiative. But, 30 minutes after this happened, there were almost no barnacles or shrimp left and we hadn't had a single drop of any drink, despite having been ordered at the beginning. The employee, looking like he was doing us a favor by serving us, seemed to get even more upset when I questioned him about the drink. I decided to go to the counter and I'm glad I did. A man with citizenship, it seemed to me, from the East and probably Ukrainian, based on the flag that was on one of the walls, decided to take matters into his own hands. And I'm glad he did. From then on, what appeared to be a nightmare lunch, turned into a great lunch with a pleasant atmosphere whenever that gentleman approached our table. The other employee no longer visited our table, and thank goodness. Here is my thanks to the gentleman whose name I don't know. It has been proven that competence is fundamental in everything and this gentleman is proof. When it is said that there are collaborators who make a house, this gentleman is one of them. Once again, thank you very much. I just don't give 5 stars for the service, initially, but for the next part... I give 6 stars.
